Interested in a career in the fire sprinkler trade?
We're always happy to hear from anyone who is seeking a career in the sprinkler fitting trade. Accurate Fire Protection is a member of the UA Local 669 Road Sprinkler Fitters Union.
To become a journeyman sprinkler fitter, candidates must complete a 5-year apprenticeship program with on-the-job training and a 19 course correspondence through a nationally recognized university.
Qualifications for apprenticeship:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must be physically fit to do the work of the trade
- Must have other than dishonorable discharge from the military (if applicable)
- Must pass appropriate drug test
